Do contact Lou as soon as possible with any questions and to let us know any thoughts on your ACCESS REQUIREMENTS for the workshop.

Both workshops will be based on a series of Awareness Through Movement lessons:

  • explorations with a focus on using gentle and slow movement
  • each working at our own pace with the intention of ease and enjoyment!
  • no particular training or background necessary
  • a welcome to anyone interested in exploring their own movement potential

BRING blanket and clothes to be warm for floor work.
(Tea & coffee available at the studio but recommended to bring small lunch/snacks as not many choices locally)

Lou Coleman is a performance maker crossing the boundaries between theatre and dance to find unexpected playful moments. Her inclusive creative practice and Feldenkrais teaching encompasses working with diverse group of people.

Fiona Wright has been teaching for over twenty years, working with performance through choreography, writing and installation, using many somatic practices. Awareness Through Movement (Feldenkrais Method) has been her main route and influence towards teaching a wide range of public classes.

NOTE: We are offering these sessions as low cost as possible and we prefer everyone to choose for themselves which workshop fee they are currently able to pay. The ‘low income/independent artist’ bracket is intended for anyone freelance or currently on a very low income at this time. The standard rate of £60 for both or £40 for one session is also set low so as to be comparably very good value.
